Heading for Finland

To night the team is crossing the boarder to Sweden arriving the ferry in Stockholm tommorrow morning. We arrive the track in Finland hopefully late tommorrow. Everything is in mint condition, even Reodor Rolfstad him self, so this is turning out to be a good weekend! Last year it was almost impossible to get internet connections on the track in Finland and if so this year i will make a review post when we get home.

FINALY HE MADE IT!!! Svein Olav made a perfect run on 6.62 and is nr 3 in qual. We are so extremly happy for this "personal victory". That man is made of stone, never giving up, and now it finaly paid of. Jan Sturla is nr 5!!!!

Jan Sturla med a new six second run with 6,79. He is now number four in qual. his first run today was also a new speed record with 334 kmh!
Svein Olav made a good 7,35 in qual 2 but is number nine qualifier. It seems like the times at Tierp is getting faster and faster so to be sure to enter the ladder at final day you have to make a six second run at least.

Jan Sturla starts off like a bullet. 6.71 and qual number two! Svein Olav shuts-off after burn out cause to a fuel leak. no worries, just a minor problem. Tierp is perfect today so faster times is coming up....

The team is now on its way to Tierp Arena, in Sweden, a brand new dragrace course some say is amongst the best in the world. Jan Sturla is, as titled in a local newspaper this weekend, the underdog defending his championship leader points. Svein Olav got his bike ready and he told me before leave that he is planning for someting great this weekend.
