UEM Round 2, England.

Rolfstad Pro Dragracing has this weekend been at Santa Pod, racing round two in the championship. As usual the weather in England is unstable and the rain was present almost the whole weekend. Because of this we were only able to race four qual rounds. Svein Olav had a serious misfire in the engine and was out after three quals. Jan Sturla managed a 7th best qual in windy conditions. On final day the rain came pouring down and that was it.
This means that Jan Sturla is still leading the

Due to an major explosion in a Top Doorslammer car the last qual is cancelled. Thanks to the high focus on safety in dragrace the driver is ok, but the car is far from ok. Both Svein Olav and Jan Sturla is in the elimination tommorrow so we are hoping for great weather and a bit faster bikes.

Svein Olav did not start due to problems. Jan Sturla made a 7.32. both are still in the game as long as the weather stayes ok. One last qual is ahead today.

The weather is nice and everything was supposed to be right, but that dident happen. both bike had problems, Jan Sturla lost oilpressure and Svein Olav blow of a hose. He managed to get a time at 12.4 and is second to last but Jan Sturla DNSèd and is last. BUT we got two more runs, hopefully, to day and the spirit is still strong.
The Norwegian Championship

Up-coming weekend we are attending the Norwegian Championship at Sunoco Raceway Gardermoen. Hopefully this will be a nice way to continue all the good results from Hungary. The crew is doing everything possible to make the crowd happy on up-coming saturday, the bikes are race-ready and the racers are excited.
It will be a strong field entering the super twin class, including both Mr Olstad and Mr Høyberget, and of course the battle is allready on......

Jan Sturla Hegre took his first UEM win ever this weekend and also made a new track record in Hungary with a 6.82!! We are now leading the European Championship and are so exiting for the next up-coming events.
Svein Olav become number 8 and had a good weekend making a new personal speed record with 338 km/h.
Both bikes are in good conditions and the spirit is strong.
